Dr. Rybak as a guest on KaffeehausTALK, the sports business podcast

January 30, 2021 - Recently I was invited to the KaffeehausTALK - how could it be otherwise - in Vienna. This podcast deals with sports business topics in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and our "talk" developed into an exciting conversation about pandemic clauses, player strikes, exclusion from training of professionals, salary cap, self-marketing of players, employment contracts for eSportsmen, the world of players' agents, illegality of training compensation or the sports law ruling par excellence from Austria.

All this is paired with the world governing body FIFA, the clubs Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, Schalke 04 or SV Mattersburg and seasoned professionals such as Ousmane Dembele, Adam Szalai, Christoph Schösswendter or Karim Onisiwo. In addition to all these exciting topics, some of which are topical, I'm also talking to the makers of KaffeehausTALK us for the first time publicly about the DFL task force "Future of Professional Football". A worldwide unique and exciting project "of the best minds", which can be trend-setting for German soccer.

We hope you enjoy listening.

On training compensation for international transfers

7th July 2019 - Each international transfer of a young player raises the question of whether and, if so, how much training compensation is payable in accordance with the relevant FIFA regulations.

Often, club changes also fail because there is uncertainty about this or because the interested club is not willing to pay training compensation in the amount owed.
